Americans are well known for its traditional road trips. But rising gas prices increasingly forcing drivers to consider various options to maximize your gas mileage and make the most of the past. Here are some helpful tips that could continue to help you get the most out of your summer driving marathons and be aware of it.

Check the fluid level is a necessity
Your cooling system should be checked, cleaned and re-filled if necessary before leaving the road. Other liquids like motor oil, brake and transmission fluids, power steering and so on will also require close monitoring. Do you have problems with them while driving in the heat of summer is not the best way to enjoy a good road trip.

Check for leaks
See if your car has any leaks before going on a trip. Finding out that there is any, while you are good at your holiday is definitely the thing less enjoyable than you might expect. Remember that even the smallest leak in the fuel tank will result in a substantial loss of its portfolio. And who wants to pour money that way?

Air Filter condition
An air filter in dusty which will result in a drop in fuel efficiency of 10%. To get the most out of your fuel, replacing your air filter is a very good idea.

Schedule your trip before leaving
Be sure to take your time with the map before hitting the road. This way you can find the best way to your destination and avoid battles with the map during the trip. Do not forget to explore the U.S. Department of Transportation Web Federal Highway Administration before leaving, if you do not run on closed roads or building traffic stops.

Maintain the speed limit in sight
Driving below 60 mph is not only a good security measure to prevent accidents but actually helps you get the best gas mileage, and that usually increases considerably when you exceed the speed limit. Be sure to check the speed limits of state visiting National Motorists Association.

The peak time is your enemy
Try to drive during peak hours as much as possible. The peak fuel consumption decrease considerably and also contribute to wear on your car.

Buying a GPS system or a road map
It is very easy to make a mistake or make a wrong turn, especially when driving in an unfamiliar area. Have an atlas or GPS system in his will to save a lot of nerves and time.

Update your auto insurance
The longer the trip the higher the risk of encountering an accident and have car insurance coverage good and cheap in such a situation is a must. Check your car insurance before you leave home and make sure it is appropriate to their insurance needs. Different states have different minimum coverage amounts to be aware that when reading through your policy before departure.

We all know that the car is one of the things we always need in our daily lives. Always helps us in everything we do business to our personal needs. So we take good care of him. So do not give any problem and not cost us much in the future. Here are some tips that we all must do to take good care of our cars.

First, we must always remember to always check our engine, rest, fluids, and battery before you use our car. We usually ignore these things because of our busy lives. And I always forget to check out our cars before we left. I always remember what my father always told me that when it comes to cars. She said that the engine is an important part of the car. Periodically check the engine help us see what is going to be a problem and cost us more in the future. It has a full car engine check-up. If you know anything about the engine of a car then you can do it yourself. If not, you can hire a car mechanic. If you ever try to hire someone you trust or someone who has a reputation as a car engine. Or you can check the car manual for help. But watch out if you just use the car, there is some part of the engine are still hot so be careful in controlling your car engine. Check engine oil level you have to see if oil consumption is increasing rapidly. If so you have to go to a repair shop and have them check out. Make sure the engine is off when checking the oil level. Then check the transmission fluid read your manual on how to do this or have someone who has experience in doing this. Be sure to use the correct transmission fluid for his car. The following is the brake fluid is a brake on this very important cause you really need when driving a car. When the brake pads wear the brake fluid level is reduced slightly. But do not worry these things are normal. If the brake fluid level drops in a short period of time is the time you have to have your brake check. Always put the brake fluid approving the brakes. And always keep it covered when you do not have to fill it. And always make sure that it maintains very high boiling point in the brake fluid. So it is not exposed to air produces this fluid will absorb moisture and that will lower the boiling point. Another thing is the power steering fluid. Check the liquid level should not change more than the normal range. You have to check for leaks as well. Then check the coolant. This is very important because you really going to affect the status of your vehicle. Coolant is what helps you when your car is overheating. So you have to check for leaks. After the battery. Most of today's battery now offers a maintenance-free meaning you can not check the water level. But this does not mean you can not see anymore. We have to wipe the top of the battery and also check if the terminal connection is clean and safe. After the day, the windshield washer solvents. These solvents are available at any auto supply store and supermarkets. So I have no problem. Then we need to check the belts and hoses as well. These things are usually done by your mechanic, but only if you have to do it on your own always remember to check when the car is cold. Check the belt to see if they crack and oppression.

The second major car are wheels and tires. Check the tire pressure. Tire pressures tend to increase as the unit due to heat buildup. So you should check when they are cold. Use the tire pressure recommended by the tire manufacturer. It is recommended to rotate your tires regularly. The front tire always wear faster than rear tires. Having a thick uneven tire uneven braking will especially during rainy days. By doing this you will end up placing two new tires in the front and is still uneven tire in the rear. Then you have to place the other two rear tires for all even and balance. This will cost a lot. Do not forget to have a wheel alignment and wheel balance verification. Having a record that is not aligned carry your tire easily. If you want to know if your tires are not aligned. First is to check each tire and look for irregular patterns. Or get a coin and placed it between each tread and see if the same length. If the tread is deeper on one side than the other, which means you need a wheel alignment. Have a disc which is the balance will give hard time on the road with all the vibration in the seat, steering wheel and floor. To know if the wheels are not balanced is when a section of the tire is heavier than the other or the car vibrates at a certain speed. You have to call a mechanic to make a balance wheel for the car. Do not forget to check the wheel nuts as well. Check the locking lugs if all are tight and no heavier than the other.

Check all vehicle lights on your inside light, headlight to turn signal lights and brake lights. Do not forget to check the wires in your vehicle. Check if the cables are in good condition and have no fracture or fissure. There is a moment I heard on the news of a taxi who just got on fire in the street and it's all because of faulty electrical wiring. We do not want that to happen to us or our car. Then check the wiper. To see if the leaves are cracked or need to replace the new one. And then see if it is necessary to replace the filters in cars. Car There are many filters that are replaceable. You can see them in the car manual. If you live in a dusty area, then you should replace them frequently. Here are some of the u filter has to check. The first is the air filter this filter is used to filter the air entering an engine. You can replace this filter for yourself. The following is the fuel filter it is found either in the engine compartment or near the gas tank. You have to let a car mechanic to do this. After this filter cabin filter is located somewhere under the dash are the filters that filter the air conditioning system that cleans the air before entering the cabin.

Hours a day washing cars. I know that for some of us especially for busy people going to the car wash station is a big yes. And I know car washing tools provide good preparation for your car and change is very very clean. They have the tools and equipment will give your car a clean finish and very nice and bright. But better and much cheaper than doing it yourself. Moreover, you can be sure that you can have the finish that you like because you do it yourself. And it is one of the fun ways to spend a day with your family and loved ones. Use cleaning products that are safe for your car. Wash and clean the outside of your vehicle as often to use the car. If you use it every day and always driving on a muddy dirt road and I guess you have to wash more often. Remove dried mud and dirt under your car and around your tires. Because they are dust as well. A good car toilet always gives a good look at anyone who sees it. Then, after washing, do not forget to dry and check for any dirt that are still there. Empty seat of the car and the carpet as often as you use it. Clean the dashboard of your car because they get too much dust.

The car wax is good to maintain their color and brightness of car paint. Always makes the car a new look and also protect the paint of automobiles from the sun's ultraviolet rays. And it gets very wet when it rains. How often do you wax your car is dependent upon the type of wax you use. Some waxes are more durable than others. When waxing makes sure the car is clean and feels soft to the touch. And be sure to check the entire surface of any residue of wax, check plates, emblems, appears throughout the seat and body.

Taking good care of your vehicle will give you good advantage. If you have a good maintenance on your car will perform well and use less gas. In addition it will not cost more in the long term. Do not forget to drive safely and responsibly. Remember it is not the only one who will be hurt if we have an accident while driving. People who are driving us and the people in the street are all in our hands and our responsibility. So always be responsible and be careful and alert every time we started our engine and start driving. Always remember that the car is just a machine that is our responsibility to take good care of it. I hope this few tips will help you and will be a reminder for you in maintaining their cars.
