This 1997 BMW Z3 is a proper sports car with top down fun in mind. 1997 was the first year for the 2.8L 24 valve six cylinder engine versus the previous four cylinder. Mated to a 5 speed manual transmission this Z3 was made for smiles. This one-owner example is virtually brand new with only 15330 miles and it still sits on the original tires. Inside you'll find a flawless interior with quality expected from BMW. This car has always been garaged and was only rained on one time. The owner specially ordered it with the dark green paint, tan convertible top, and beige leather interior. It is equipped with a nice Harman Kardon stereo system with AM/FM Cassette and CD changer. Has 16" x 7" BMW light alloy wheels in round-spoke styling with 225/50/50 Z-rated tires. This Z3 has leather wrapped steering wheel, anti-lock brakes, wood trim console and gear shift knob, power windows, seats, locks and cruise control. Comes with the original window sticker and services records. This is a high class sports car for a great value. DaimlerChrysler AG's Mercedes-Benz brand has recently announced the 100,000th sales milestone of the company’s CLS-Class luxury 4-door coupes. Actually, more than 100,000 units of the Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class are already sold in markets and delivered to customers all over the world since the new Mercedes-Benz 4-door luxury coupe model was launched in 2004. Stuttgart-based automaker said the top selling markets for the Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class are in Germany and in the United States.

“The CLS-Class combines the elegant design vocabulary and dynamics of a coupe with the comfort and functionality of a sedan in a completely unmatched way.” said Dr. Klaus Maier, Executive Vice President Mercedes Car Group, responsible for Sales and Marketing.

“The extraordinarily positive customer response to a model that is still unique underscores Mercedes-Benz’ role as a trendsetter in the development of new vehicle concepts and impressively demonstrates the success of our product strategy.” he added.

In addition, in an official company press released, Mercedes-Benz reports that:

"Demand for the CLS is particularly high in the U.S., where about 27,000 units have been sold since the vehicle was introduced to the market in January 2005. The second most important market for the four-door coupe is Germany accounting for about 20 percent of global sales. The most popular engine version in Germany last year was the CLS 320 CDI, which was chosen by more than half of the customers."

The Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class comes with a wide range of models. These include CLS 350 CGI, CLS 500, CLS 63 AMG, CLS 320 CDI, CLS 550, and CLS 63 AMG. All models feature a sleek and luxurious body styling and impressive vehicle driving and handling performance coming from a 4-door coupe with 4-seat cabin. Mercedes-Benz offers an exclusive petrol or diesel engine for each model.

Mercedes-Benz is also offering the world's first direct-injection gasoline engine with a spray-guided combustion process for the 3.5-liter V6 engine under the hood of the CLS 350 CGI. As a result of this innovative powertrain technology, the Mercedes CLS 350 CGI pumps out additional horsepower and torque output, and boost the vehicle's performance while improving the fuel efficiency.

All models included in the Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class comes with standard components including 7G-Tronic 7-speed automatic transmission with Tipfunction and Speedtronic cruise control, 80 liters fuel tank, 4-5 twin-spoke alloy wheel design with 245/45 performance tires, electric folding mirrors, exhaust system with two chrome tailpipes, heated windscreen wash system, metallic paint finish, projection beam halogen headlamps, remote boot release, and space saver spare wheel.

For more performance-oriented customers who starve for speed, Mercedes AMG tuning company offers Mercedes OEM parts that will further boost the Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class's performance.

The Maserati GranCabrio will make its world premiere at the Frankfurt International Motorshow on 15 September. The car is the first four seater cabriolet to be produced by the Modenese company. The GranCabrio is Maserati through and through, from the distinctive Pininfarina styling, the roomy interior and hand-crafted detailing to the driving pleasure and performance it provides.

The Maserati GranCabrio will be available from winter onwards and will be shipped to dealerships around the world in spring 2010. In the meantime, you can admire its beauty, elegance, advanced technology and optional extras at the new Maserati GranCabrio configurator. The configurator is the best of its kind on the web thanks to the quality of its images and the freedom allowed in selecting personalisation options.
The new configurator offers the chance to preview in detail the car’s interior, exterior, steering wheel and even detailing like the interior stitching and brake callipers.

The Maserati GranCabrio also has its own dedicated website at:  www.maseratigrancabrio.com .

Now let’s turn to some of the technical aspects of this hi-tech design icon: the Maserati GranCabrio is powered by a 4.7 litre V8 teamed with a super smooth six-speed automatic transmission. In Sport mode, the V8 rewards the driver and passengers by delivering all the power of its 440 bhp as the engine sound hits all the right notes.

The bodywork on the Maserati GranCabrio has been totally re-engineered to ensure excellent structural rigidity. The spot-on weight distribution means excellent handling and superior levels of safety.

Special attention has been paid to the aerodynamics with the car’s flat aluminium undertray: for the first time ever, the aerodynamic figures of the cabriolet version match the coupè.

The automatic bi-zone climate control maintains ideal conditions in the cabin by adjusting both the interior temperature and ventilation by gauging the exterior temperature, the air humidity and the intensity of the sun’s rays.

The close collaboration between Maserati engineers and BOSE technicians has resulted in a BOSE stereo system designed especially for the GranCabrio so the occupants can enjoy music in the open air.

The Maserati GranCabrio comes with Skyhook suspension as standard. The brakes employ high-performance dual cast technology and were developed in association with Brembo.

In line with Maserati’s traditions, the GranCabrio’s hood is crafted in canvas. In just 28 seconds, the driver and passengers can experience the joy of plein air driving, as the hood opens and closes even with the car travelling up to 30 km/h.

The auto insurance cost for women is oftentimes significantly more affordable compared to men. Most providers believe that girls are more careful on the road therefore less likely to file a claim.

While this may seem unfair to men, studies show that women simply pose less of a financial risk to the insurer, and they are rewarded for it thru additional discount. Women are not only far less likely to be involved in a collision or fender bender, but they actually take better care of their cars.

The official record shows that most women only have one or two record of traffic violations while men usually have more than 3 violations. Almost for everyone, age really does matter most of the time. Young ones don't want to listen as they think they know better than anyone else around them. Young girls aged 18-22 have more road accidents than ladies over 25. Aside from the maturity, perhaps it's also true that most things come with the experience.

Married women can make use of the "Insured and Partner" policies to get equal discounts for their spouse. Mostly, women pay up to 30% less compared to men with similar records. But after a few years when drivers age and built their own driving records, there is already not much difference in premiums between men and women. Responsible drivers pay less while bad drivers will eventually pay more.

Being pregnant does make any difference in premiums however we would like to post some safety measures for pregnant drivers or passengers. Many of the following tips are the usual things anyway, but while pregnant, it's particularly important to double-check safety on the road.

SAFETY FIRST. Collision and bodily injury coverage in particular should be at the top of your priorities list.

SEATBELT. Pregnant women should rest the waist strap below the baby bump, not across it. The shoulder strap should also be comfortably across your chest. This will most likely save you and your baby in case of a collision.

POSITION. Position yourself at least 10 inches away from the steering wheel as it's the safe distance if the air bag deploys. Though the distance should be at least 10 inches, you have to make sure as well that you can still drive safely and comfortably when doing so. Also, pulling over for a couple of minutes to stretch your legs can help you keep a healthy body circulation.

AVOID NIGHT-DRIVING. Night driving is more dangerous not just for pregnant women. It reduces visibility, increases the chance of encountering a drunk driver, and can lead for your body to more stressed out.

RIGHT FOOD. It's a must to avoid eating unhealthy food to keep your blood sugar at a healthy level especially if you're pregnant. By eating before you leave the house or packing some healthy snacks for the road, this helps you avoid greasy drive-thrus to keep your blood sugar at a healthy level.
